Ready to Party at Isabelle's 2nd birthday party!
Hailyn swinging at Whistle Stop Park.. wish we had a park like this near us... the kids LOVED it and still talk about the "red swings!!"
Paisley Faith having fun at Becca's
Our Family at Thomas's Honor Guard Grad. in Laredo.
I was getting so good at this Blogging Business... then things got a little hectic.
We went to see my best friend, Becca, and her beautiful girls in Harker Heights, TX. I was so happy we got to stay the week and enjoy Isabelle's second birthday with her! It was a little crazy with 5 girls ( just counting the kids) in the house. I left there thinking that I will NEVER have any more kids... LOL! It made doing things THAT much harder. Forget having a nice sit down dinner with my best friend... we had two babies rudely interrupt that! Ha Ha... On the other hand, my girls and I had a great time and we would do it all over again in a second!
On another note, Paisley is 3 months old today! Goodness, where does the time go? It is shocking how it just slips away. Ayla will be starting Preschool in a few weeks... Let's talk about SCARY! I am nervous all around about that! I am going to call the school tomorrow and figure out what steps need to be taken to get her enrolled. I am worried about Hailyn when Ayla starts school. She is going to be so lonely! I think she is going to be the one who is going to take the most adjustment. I am excited to be able to give her more one on one time. It is going to be so different with just Hailyn and the little one here to worry about. I am so used to 3. Praying the adjustment goes smoothly for everyone!
Thomas just graduated from the Honor Guard, which is such an accomplishment. The girls and I are so proud of him!! :-) He reaches the end of his two year probationary period on August 7th!
He made it!!
I better get my behind into the shower. It is 10:30pm and I Just laid Paisley down for the night ( I hope).

Crabby Patties

Paisley Faith- 10 weeks
Crabby Patties ;-)
She is only two months old and already trying to roll over!
They really do Love eachtoher- Most of the time.... :-)
I Love that Smile!!! Could kiss These Kids all day!!! :-)
Our house is full of crabby patties today!! Maybe it is the weather!? Even my sweet Paisley is being grouchy- I cannot figure her out today. If she is being nursed to sleep or held, she is content.. but the minute I put her down, she cries. This is not like her. She is generally a very good baby- cries to eat, that's about it. Maybe it is just a tummy ache; we will see. She is asleep in her swing for now while her sisters go NUTS!! DId I mention in my last post how much I am hating this rain!? They have no outlet, when usually they will go in the backyard and play for hours.
Thomas started midnights, which I hate!! Getting adjusted to the schedule is not only hard on us, but even harder on him. It is very difficult to keep these kids quiet and keep myself from yelling; which I feel I do too much of. These past few days, The older girls have not been listening. And I find myself yelling more and more. Since, let's face it, a good portion of my day is spend on the couch nursing the baby and I have to yell to capture their attention most of the time. I just feel like a bad mother for yelling. Their attention spans are very short... they will do something with me for a few mins and then just want to be doing their own thing. SO the schedule that I once had of craft time, outside play, puzzles... etc... seems they do not have much interest in anymore. They enjoy wrestling eachother, hitting, playing "house" ... pretend play mostly. Oh well... All I can do is try. As I am writing this, Ayla is the Mommy and Hailyn is the baby.... it is so funny hearing them talk to eachother and play. They are growing up so fast!
Next month Ayla will be starting preschool... my goodness!!! I cannot believe it! I am getting nervous about the mornings.. taking her to school with all three kids to get ready; including myself. This will be VERY new to us. Looking forward to the change. Ayla needs school- she needs the interaction. I am just hoping that she handles the change well and adjusts quickly. So sad :-(
Pray for me to keep my sanity as this rain continues.. ha ha :-)

I wonder. . .

Sometimes do you find yourself wishing you could go back in time? Back to where everything was simple and your memories of that time are nothing short of perfection? Back when your friends were just that, your friends. Sometimes I miss that time. Do not get me wrong, I am happy where I am in my life, but sometimes I get sad and miss the moments with those people. Many of friends and I have drifted apart and it makes me sad. It is what happens in life when you "grow up", Move away or just simply change into people we no longer were. I guess I am feeling a little lonely. I am so thankful for those friends that have stood by me and who continue to stand by me. Who listen to me and are there for me no matter what! To you, I love you! <3 It is a dreary day here in Cotulla. The girls are playing in the mud sand.. yes, I said mud sand. In our backyard, the dirt is like a reddish sand... strange. The girls are enjoying it- and are REALLY dirty! Will make for an interesting night. What kind of mother would I be if I did not let them get a least a little dirty once in a while? :-) Pictures to come. Got Miss Paisley a new mobile for her crib today. Wish me luck - going to put her in her crib for the first time tonight... eeek!!!

Rain Rain Go away. . . .

My Joely- almost 2 weeks already!!!
Today has been a LOOONG day!! My girls love to play outside in the backyard, but the rain has put a halt to that until it dries up. Which, according to the weather, will not be for a few days. They are going crazy... driving me crazy, eachother crazy. To keep us all in one piece, I am praying for the rain to stop!
On a happier note, my beautiful sister drove all the way here to spend some time with us. Mr. Joely came along for the trip! He is such a cutie and so sweet! Yesterday was her birthday, so the girls and I had made her a cake and sang her happy birthday. She got to blow out her candles, which the girls enjoyed watching; I think Auntie Jennie enjoyed it as well. The Chocolate cake is going in the trash after today. It is not welcome in my home... Not if I plan to keep up this weight loss. I do not want to be fat forever. I am only 25- I want to look it :)
Nothing exciting to report. Just here at home, trying to keep my sanity :-)
