A Little of this, little of that.....

Here are a couple videos I took today... My plan did not work out so well with the girls prayers.. usually they fill in the blanks and I do not have to say as much... but I think it is still cute :)

BEdtime around here is always the same routine... Dinner, bath, brush teeth, story time, then prayers together as a family. They really enjoy saying their prayers.... as do I. SO, I thought it would be great to get it on film.

As for Little Paisley... She was talking and talking. That is until I pulled out the camera. That little stinker, huh? SHe managed to turn herself all the way around in the play gym- she is going to be rolling over soon, she is so strong! She is only 2 months old! This cannot really be happening, can it?

Tomorrow is Thomas's day off... we have a busy day planned in San Antonio. Miss Paisley has her two month visit with the DR. which means shots :-( I am realllly NOT looking forward to this. I think I cry more than they do. I am such a whimp when it comes to seeing my babies in pain.. hate, hate, hate it!!! But, unfortunately... it has to happen. We are going to make a much needed trip to Babies R'Us and possibly Kohls. Poor Paisley has outgrown all of her clothes. As funny as that is that she wears 9 month clothes... not so funny that the poor kid has only two outfits that fit her. She needs to look cute, right? :-) And then off to Thomas's MOm's to pick up our computer desk and the girl's powerwheels barbie Jeep. They are so excited to finally be getting it back! woohoo!!! They can play with SOMETHING in the backyard now instead of just bugs! Yes, my girls like bugs... just wish they would refrain from killing the poor things.

Wish me Luck tomorrow!

I wonder. . .

Who am I if I am not a Mother and a Wife? Somewhere between the I do's and the diapers I have lost myself along the way. A few days ago someone asked me what my interests were? What I liked to do for fun? Me? Aside from story time, bubble blowing, and sidewalk chalk? It took me forever to mutter a single word... took me so long to think about what I enjoy. I finally stuttered.."umm.. I like movies.. and .. uh... books. " It really got me thinking.. I need to focus on myself a little more. Yes, I am a mother to three beautiful children. Yes, I have a wonderful Husband. But somewhere, I am still me. I need to do something that makes Me happy. So, I have started blogging again, which I enjoy. I am also on the right track to losing weight. Being Happy with my body is something I have always struggled with. I Just want to get back to feeling somewhat attractive again. I want to feel good in what I wear. I want to enjoy buying an outfit for myself instead of it feeling like a chore. I just want to be Me. I love being a Mother more than anything in the world, but if I am not Happy with who I am, then what kind of Mother am I? I want my children to have self confidence and be happy with themselves and who they are. For me to teach that, I need to believe it in myself. Kids are smart, they pick up on everything, no matter how subtle. So, I am not only working on my outside appearance, but sort of re-vamping the indoors a little too. Couldn't hurt, right? I want to start running again. Exercising makes me feel good, or at least it once did. I am sure I will not feel so great after the first few work outs if you know what I mean? But I will get there. I have to believe it. So... I am going to try and do something once a month that I enjoy. Something just for me. It may take me a while, but I WILL find myself again. I can hope at least.

Long Time coming....

I am not even going to post about how long it has been since I have blogged... I will just start with the fact that I am a proud owner of a laptop.. thus making it so much easier to BLOG once the girls are in bed.
April 28,2010 We added a third princess to our brood! She will be two months old TOMORROW! TIme sure flies. Miss Paisley Faith is such a sweet baby. Her sisters absolutely adore her. Ayla wants to be right by her when she is awake. Would rather watch her than play. It is so adorable.
I sit here wishing that they had a pool in town- something to keep the girls busy this summer. I would love to put them into swimming lessons. I really think they are ready. Maybe I will make the drive once a week to San Anotonio... I will have to look into it.
Time just flies by. My baby, Ayla, will be 4 in August. Now that is scary!!! She is so very smart. She is going to start preschool in August and is so excited about it! Me, not so much. I will miss her, as will her sisters. I know it will be so good for her though. She begs to go to school and is getting so excited to get her backpack, lunchbox and talks about meeting her teacher- so adorable.
Hailyn on the other hand I think is a bit envious. Poor thing wants to be going to school as well. She loves to play with other kids and is so social. I wish there was something I Could find for her to do at least once a week. I am going to look into the local church. Maybe they have a mother's day out program that she could be in once a week. Sad part is that the cut off for school is Sept. 1 and Hailyn's birthday is Sept. 19. Which means she will not be able to start preschool until 2012.. Which will make her almost 5! I do not know if that is a good or a bad thing. I suppose they have the age cutoff for a reason, right?
Things are going good. We have been living in Cotulla for a little over 2.5 months now. I like all the family time we get, but I have no friends here. I am sure that will come with time, I hope. I also HATE the heat. I love the yard that we have for the kids ,and the girls absolutely love being able to ride their bikes, go outside whenever they want, play in the water... just everything that comes with having a yard. I am anxious to get them something to play on- whether it be a trampoline or a play set. I would like to get both; eventually.
The older girls stayed the night at Grandmas last night. I got to get some sleep with Miss P. Nice to have one day to catch up a little on sleep. Although, she is a good baby. Some nights she will wake up a few times a night.. which is rare. MOST nights she sleeps 6-7 hours. She is such a sweet baby. She has her 2 month appointment on Tuesday, which means shots- yuck!! I am excited to see how much she weighs and how tall she is. She was 12 pounds at 3 weeks old!! I know she is much more than that now, since she wears 9 month sleepers and 6-9 month clothes. I cannot keep up with how fast she is growing. Dr. thinks there is steroids in my milk. :-) Glad she is eating well.
Off to pick up my girls! I have missed them... even if it was just one night.
